After a huge catch, Braxton Miller had to be helped off the field and looked rattled.
More than anything else this season, Ohio State fans have been hoping that Braxton Miller could finish the season completely healthy, as he transitioned from a quarterback to a wide receiver. There have been no issues with his surgically repaired shoulder, but there was cause for Buckeye fans to worry late in the Minnesota game.
After hauling in a 45-yard bomb from Cardale Jones to put the Buckeyes at the Minnesota 24, Miller's head appeared to slam into the turf. Miller was eventually able to leave the field of play after being helped off by Ohio State staff, but was unable to return to action against the Golden Gophers.
Miller had five carries for 11 yards in the game, as well as the 45 yard catch. In his postgame press conference, Buckeyes head coach Urban Meyer said he expected Miller will be alright. He added the team should know more tomorrow though didn't seem to think it'd be a serious issue moving forward.
We'll have more as it's available.
