I'm a Braves homer, but I think they have a shot at this thing. They have no business winning this series, so that's why I think they'll win it. Year after year they entered the playoffs as a heavy favorite only to underachieve. Perhaps in Cox's last year, they'll reverse the trend.

to be honest this series has the best shot to go 5....
after Linecum, the Jints pitchers don't get a ton of run support. And I think the Braves have a better starting staff overall. Pitching and defense wins in the playoffs.

It appears that Lincecum has it going so far. It appears that the Braves' best opportunity was in the 1st, as is the normal case with most big pitchers. If Lowe can keep Atlanta within 2 going into the 7th or so, I think the Braves could get to San Fran's bullpen. They just need to take Lincecum into some deep counts and stop chasing.....

Big pitch by Venters, he bailed Lowe out. This game could get interesting.........I like the fight in the Braves this year.
