His ability to exude sweaty fat obnoxious is simply remarkable. How he manages to interact with recruits and their families and leave even a slightly favorable impression is baffling to me.

My only guess is that the "so I hear Ohio State isn't pursuing you very hard" angle is reinforced by his mumbling fat awkwardness... or something?

I think that as a parent, if you don't have a dog in the OSU vs scUM hunt, it's hard to actually hate such a round faced simpleton.

Think about it, a retard has to do something to piss you off before you'll ever call him a retard. Up to that point our default setting is to always feel bad for the poor bastards.

No one watches/reads Of MIce and Men and hates Lenny. Same deal for parents and Brady Hoke, no one's first reaction is to hate a fat retarded guy.

His main recruiting weapon is pity.
