BPCFFB3 - Week 5 Lineups

Thats queer.

I thought we only had to have our lineups in if we were playing a guy that was in the game Thursdays or Fridays? That pretty much sucks if thats not the case, defeats my strategy for the week of not playing Slaton.

The rest of the lineup.

QB Sam Bradford, Oklahoma
RB James Davis, Clemson
RB (Slaton), Mike Goodson, Texas A&M
WR Mario Manningham, michigan
WR Mario Urrutia, Louisville
RB Graig Cooper, Miami
K Chris Summers, Purdue
Defense Rutgers

Yeah, your stuck with Slaton. Unless you came out before the game with a note that you weren't playing Slaton. Just the standard rule if we don't get your lineup we copy last weeks lineup. And how are we suppose to know you are going to hold out your 1st rounder stud RB? It protects you if you forgot (if Slaton went for 200+ and 3-4 TDs)

Likewise, it would afford one an unfair chance to evaluate the Friday night (Thursday night) performance and decide if they wanted to use those stats or risk it on some others.

If BB36 had NOT used Slaton last week, then he would not have been forced in to using him this week... in fact, by rule, he could NOT use him this week (after the game is started) even if he wanted to.

simplified... any player on your team that plays a game before you send in your lineup is locked into the same spot on your roster that he played the previous week... if he played last week, he plays this week, if he didnt play last week, he doesnt play this week.

* - Lewis returned a fumble on a pass play for a TD. Yahoo doesn't credit him with any receiving yards or receiving TDs, but the schools box score does. This gives him a 71 yard pass to himself, so 71 passing yards, 71 receiving yards, and 2 TDs on one play.

Although I doubt it would make a difference, that play would be scored as a completeion for "x" yards, a fumble, and then a recovery for a TD. Not a pass to himself, because one pass cannot be completed to two people.

If a player from the fumbling team picks up the fumble and advances it, the play is completed and the yards go to the player who recovers the fumble in the manner that the play first started as. If it's a run play, they're running yards...if it's a pass play, they're receiving yards.

According to the Indiana box score, anyway. Also, Yahoo credits Lewis with 3 TD passes. 1 to Hardy, 1 to Fisher, and 1 to himself. They just don't credit the receiving yards or receiving TD for Lewis on Yahoo.

Sorry, guys, my vacation home in the Outer Banks had problems with their advertised "internet access", so I wasn't able to do shit online this past week. Hopefully my line-up from last week all had games this week.

:groove:

The Effin' Puppies aren't above a little charity every now and again!

I'll post the actual scores when I get home, but, as I recall, it was along the lines of:

BK - 130
FKA - 95
