OK, then none of the games are on ESPN. I just skimmed through what will be on Thursday and there isnt a single basketball game on.

I know most of the games are on CBS, but I figured ESPN would have at least one game on, because they had the opening round game last night...

That wasn't an opening round game, it was the "Play-in" game to decide the 64th team.

Seriously how did you now know CBS has exclusive rights to the Tournament? They have had it for as long as I can truely remember. Every yeartheir is a story about how much CBS pays for the rights etc. Last night was to play into the big dance, not an actually tournament game, thus why it was on ESPN. If you are looking for basketball on ESPN anymore you are going to get NIT, NAIA, and women's Tournament coverage, nothing else.

Back in the 80's, when ESPN had coverage of almost all of the first round games, the first two days were much better to watch. The games weren't all fit into the same time slots, and there were late starts from the West Coast, so the basketball was non-stop for about 14 hours. And ESPN did a much better job of switching around from game to game than CBS has ever done. The only good thing about CBS having the games is that there's no Dick Vitale.

Off topic, but if you have time warner, I believe channels 88-91 all cover the tourney giving you some flexibility in which game you watch.

fanatic, I could be there, but I hadn't thought about the start of the tourney. Doesn't look like there is much that we will be missing, except the obligatory upsets nobody saw coming.

theyhave the last few years which is great, just switch back and forth on your own. Don't have to worry about some jackass director changing to a game at the wrong time
