Anyone try calling Thompson Rec Center? Over on 5th and Hunter? (Near Hunter Swim Center)

Its right on/near campus.

I don't know the number, but it seems like its a "central" location that is good for everyone(somewhat).

Heres the # (614) 645-3082

Doesn't look like I'm gonna make it this week...my knee is seriously effed up, although I don't know for sure what I did to it. Guess the doc will tell me when I go.

I know, I know, I'm a pussy. If it was hockey, though, I would be there, fo' so'.

My dad's all upset that his hip has gone bad and he can't play bball anymore. He played in college and played all the time until he was in in mid 40's. He's 55 now. He played once back in December and is still limping from it. The doctors told him that he needs to rest it and it will feel better, but he can't play bball anymore. Once it feels better he can jog, but it's all the lateral movements and jumping that are bad for him. He's eventually going to have to get his hip replaced, but once he gets that done he won't be able to run at all anymore. I'm sure I have all of this in my future and I'm not looking forward to it. I hope they make some big strides in joint replacement by the time In need to get it done.
