I can't disagree much with your rankings of Nevada and Air Force, top-20 esque teams seems like a good area. Any reason you see Air Force not being ranked by season's end? Myself, I could see them beating Utah or TCU (though probably not both). Their defense plays within themselves, and the offense is just potent when running the ball. 10-2 with your losses to Oklahoma and (lets say) TCU is deserving of a top-25 status.1. Ohio State
2. Oregon
3. Oklahoma
4. Boise State
5. TCU
6. Nebraska
7. Auburn
8. LSU
9. Utah
10. South Carolina
11. Alabama
12. Michigan State
13. Arkansas
14. Stanford
15. Florida State
16. Iowa
17. Wisconsin
18. Missouri
19. Oklahoma State
20. Nevada
21. Air Force
22. Arizona
23. West Virginia
24. Florida
25. Oregon State
I am generally not as impressed with Nebraska as many others seem to be, but of course I thought Kansas State might have been the worst 5-0 team of all-time too. Oregon State has played a bitch of a schedule thus far, so to me they deserve a not over 4-1 teams that have played the Blind Two-fingered Gnomes of the Yaya Sisterhood 4 times to this point. Same with Florida, though they don't impress me much in terms of top 25 material as it stands, though their demolition of Kentucky looks better now. It will be interesting to see how far the media wonks move Nevada up to try and make their game with Boise State look like Ben-Hur II. Oklahoma State and Missouri are good...are they going to play anybody this year? Very disappointed in Miami.
Nice to see Air Force having a good season, and though they shouldn't and won't be ranked, how about a shoutout to Army, who are off at 4-2 and could qualify for a bowl game this year.
