I voted in this week's poll how I would vote if my vote counted in the BCS formula. I believe in my heart of hearts that Alabama is the second best team in the country. However, I personally feel that the BCS system is insanely stupid, and I would therefore have no qualms about manipulating that system to my own ends; in this case, avoiding a rematch in the National Championshiop game. Plus, Okie State's impressive win against Okie made moving them up to #2 far more justifiable, IMO.

I am shocked to see VaTech ahead of Clemson in the BP Poll. You're better than that, BP!

Conferences have chosen to have championship games, so I decided they should be held accountable to them at the end of the season.

Oregon lost to LSU, but so did Alabama and it didn't hurt them so why should it hurt the Ducks? They also soundly defeated Stanford at Stanford, won the PAC 12, and the BCS says Stanford is the 4th best team in the nation. So, the Ducks are third.

Wisconsin lost two road games in the final 30 seconds, and won the Big Ten championship. Alabama and Stanford lost at home. Wiscy is 4th.

If you think my reasoning is nutty I simply point out the fact that 3 teams who didn't even reach their conference title games were rewarded for it with BCS bids, including a berth in the title game. That's nutty.

The funny thing about those title games is they work against the teams that got there. LSU had to win an extra game to secure their BCS bid because they had the audacity to beat Alabama during the regular season. Suckers. The Tide got their berth while sitting on the couch watching LSU fight for theirs. Sparty beat Michigan, giving them the berth in the title game with the same number of wins. Unfortunately, MSU lost the BTCG and Michigan got the BCS bid. Again, suckers. Thanks for playing, enjoy your lesser bowl.

I didn't make this stupid system. I'm simply playing by the rules the idiots who did laid out for us.

I kind of took the opposite approach using the same reasoning. I voted like I would as an AP voter in that my choices did not include the BCS as a factor. As such, I have Alabama #2 because by the eye-ball test I think they are the best 1-loss team. However, if I had taken the BCS into account, I would have placed them at #3 behind Oklahoma State for simple fact that I don't believe non-conference champions should play for the national championship.
