I think voting TCU 13th is more biased than any vote out there. It's fine if you don't think they are top 3. But 13th...come on. Even with a weak schedule, it's still hard to go undefeated. Deserves at least a top 10 vote, especially when there aren't even 10 1-loss teams.

Hard to rank the bottom, but Arizona, really? Aren't they like 7-5 and crashed to a 4-game skid at the end of the year? South Carolina at 19 seems a bit high to me, but that's just me maybe. I have Nevada higher than some I see, but that's OK.

I think the final regular season poll should be next week, because I will likely rank Navy if they win.

I actually had time for a ballot this week, but just couldn't pull the trigger.

There isn't too much left to fill a ballot when you take out the teams that are on probation, the teams that are about to be on probation, teams that lost to WAC teams, teams that have RichRod as their head coach, teams that lost to Rich Rod, teams that let a team that lost to RichRod win their conference, teams that lost to I-AA schools, and teams that let a team that lost to a I-AA school win their conference. After nuking all of those teams, I was left with about 15 teams or so before I started getting into 6-6 Big Ten and SEC teams.

FWIW, if I had been able to cough up a ballot this week, I too would've had TCU around #13. Their schedule is crap. It can't be that hard to go undefeated in the regular season against a schedule like that - they've done it twice in a row now. Their toughest test was against a Utah team that got their doors blown off by Notre Dame.

You sound like your rankings are a reward system. I rank based on who I think would beat whom on a neutral field. Swap Arkansas with TCU and tell me who goes 12-0 and who goes 10-2, if they're lucky. Schedules matter.

I'll take any of my top 12 versus the Frogs at a neutral site. But based on the current poll I expect to see several BP voters picking TCU to win the Rose Bowl. Good luck with that.
