Yes, the biggest news for me is I dropped Iowa out of the top 25 entirely. I did this not just because they lost to NW, but they have underachieved with their talent, and I firmly believe they will lose again this week and be 7-4, which to me is not worthy of a top 25 spot at all. I suppose Northern Illinois is a bit controversial given this, but they have played well all year, may very well run the table in conference, and would be a handful for any 4th or 5th place team from a AQ conference right now. I personally think Wisconsin at #4 is too high...of course I really don't like rewarding teams for uselessly running up the score...sadly Boise State does the same thing, but they haven't even been tested in weeks, whereas TCU slipped by with their supposedly impenetrable defense this week. Starting at #18, I didn't want to rank anyone...Nevada has a joke of a defense and everyone else basically lost this week.

So people really believe that if we dropped Boise and TCU into the SEC they would finish ahead of everybody except Auburn? That's what I see when looking at the cumulative poll. Oh, and apparently the Horned Frogs would win the Big Ten. Seriously?

Again, Boise and TCU are nice non-BCS schools who could hang with the big boys in a one shot deal, but neither have the roster to survive a major conference schedule without multiple losses. That's just the reality of recruiting and depth, regardless of where the "real" voters have them.

Haven't posted my ballot in a while, though I have submitted it each week. Not much different than many others, though I had about 15 teams that could have filled the last 8 spots in any order.

Jake, as for your criticism, the only thing I can say about my ranking of TCU and Boise State is that it is based on different criteria than yours. I don't consider hypotheticals of how would team X fair if they were in Conference Y. My rankings are a combination of both what has occurred on the field and in my mind what would occur in a one-game, bowl-type, hypothetical matchup between the two teams.
