Houston's big win was 38-34 at home over UCLA, so I don't care if they are unbeaten. Giving up 42 points to UTEP didn't do it for me either.

Major shakeup in mine this week:

1. LSU (--)
2. Alabama (--)
3. Stanford (+2)
4. Oklahoma St. (+2)
5. Clemson (+2)
6. Oregon (+3)
7. Boise St. (+1)
8. Arkansas (+2)
9. Oklahoma (-6)
10. Michigan St. (+4)
11. Kansas St. (--)
12. Wisconsin (-8)
13. Texas A&M (+2)
14. Virginia Tech (+2)
15. South Carolina (-3)
16. Houston (+1)
17. Nebraska (+2)
18. Texas Tech (NR)
19. scUM (+3)
20. Penn State (NR)
21. Cincinnati (NR)
22. Arizona State (NR)
23. USC (NR)
24. Southern Miss (NR)
25. Georgia (NR)

Dropped Out: West Virginia (13), Auburn (18), Georgia Tech (20), Washington (21), Illinois (23), SMU (24), Notre Dame (25)

I have a general rule that where a team beats another team resulting in the two having the same record on the year, the team that won the head-to-head meeting should not be ranked lower than the other. However, I couldn't bring myself to somehow shoot a 1-loss Texas Tech above a 1-loss Oklahoma. I guess there must be an exception to every rule.

TTech has 2 losses, which you were apparently aware of subconsciously.

I get the arguments about teams like Houston and Southern Miss, but I'm also tired of ranking middling BCS teams and watching them step in turds every week seemingly. If teams in the Big Suck like Cinncitucky can be ranked, then teams in other conferences can too.
