I had Hawaii instead of Arizona, at least for a week, because they have been playing terribly. I saw no reason to rank Nevada below Boise State. I have Alabama a little higher than most others I guess, but I think they'll show why in the bowl game.

I had them at #102...I think Denard takes himself out of the game in the third quarter if they played Arkansas State.

22. Arizona.............. 2.50
23. Mississippi State.... 2.00
24. Hawaii............... 2.00
25. Northern Illinois.... 2.00

I rank teams using a point system:

2.00 points for beating a top-10 team
1.50 points for beating any other ranked team
1.00 points for beating any AQ team
0.50 points for beating a non-AQ team
0.00 points for beating an FCS team
-0.5 points for losing to a top-10 team
-1.0 points for losing to any other ranked team
-1.5 points for losing to an AQ team
-2.0 points for losing to a non-AQ team
-2.5 points for losing to an FSC team

Although my method produced some strange results early on, I am the outlier (high) with only one team (Louisiana State), and I voted with the group average on nine teams: Auburn (#1), Oregon (#2), Arkansas (#8), Virginia Tech (#12), Oklahoma State (#14), Texas A+M (#18), Nevada (#19), Florida State (#20), and Utah (#21).

Oh, by the way, TCU is 0-94 since 1962 against major (BCS conference) opponents with a W% of .690 or greater (that's a cutoff of 7-3, 8-3, 9-4). They are 3-108 against major (BCS) opponents that finished ranked during that same time period and 10-117 against all ranked opponents.

When they actually beat SOMEONE, I'll buy the top 3 crap.

Well, they beat SOMEONE in 1957....

And tied THEM in 1961....

But since you started in 1962, it's all cool.
