BP Fantasy Baseball est. 2008 (Current Champion = Ahiacitian)

i got my ass kicked... more games wouldn't have helped :slappy:
Well when you're going with a 4th/5th starter strategy because you used all of your top picks on hitters that suck pond water drainage like me...at least getting to where guys actually pitched would have helped. I don't think I even got to the minimum innings in 4 days.

I actually think it would be awesome to have two games per week. A Mon.-Th game, and a Fri.-Sun. game.
That would be a disaster  Some teams have 4 and 3 game series in a week, some have a 3 and a 2 with 2 travel days. Then you have starting pitchers...your entire rotation could miss a weekend. I don't know how that would ever work.

Your previous thoughts led me to this. We only have 12 teams. There are 30 MLB teams. There is no way our 12 teams have 90 starters (top 3 on each team). So, the two game per week model would challenge more than using only 40% of MLB rosters. We could add 3 P slots and 3 H slots to each roster to accommodate. This still doesn’t even get us to 50% of MLB rosters. As it is, every third to fourth week, you are going to have your aces pitch twice in a week, which could also cause some luck/imbalance to a matchup.

Watching these guys play once a week is bad.

Watching them play twice would be twice as bad.

Check my math but I think I did it right.
