Is there a way we can preserve where we left off last season and start anew for this *season? If we’re moving to a Keeper format, the ramifications from this year/season put a massive wrench into things as they stand.

Well to be fair, it doesn’t take a full season of games to demonstrate I have no talent for drafting or maneuvering.
I am down for whatever the group wants or whatever @Jake is willing to put the effort into. I do like @Smudger idea of maybe somehow just not counting this year for keeper purposes. Not sure if that’s feasible and my macro point of workload in Jake would apply for my vote.

Let me make sure I understand. Do you mean bringing forward our entire roster from last season? That may be possible since we haven't drafted. Then we can go through the one keeper process before next season, which is hopefully a normal one.
The other thing I considered is making this season a roto one - an 8 week sprint to the finish. Otherwise we're looking at 4-5 weeks of a "season" then the fantasy playoffs.
Before I do anything I want to make sure I'm reading you correctly.

That is correct, move forward for where we left off going into next season. This season is essentially a crap shoot with so many factors at play it’s almost like a lost season. I’m also in full agreement with you on having some fun with the upcoming season given the timelines to work with. Up for anything really, let’s make due with what’s available.

I agree with this. Every manager would only play half the teams head to head and that doesn’t sound reasonable (not that there is a reasonable answer this year). IMO roto scoring is the way to go for this condensed season.
Hell, at this rate, MLB will be lucky to play any games.

It’s honestly looking like a sandbox season fantasy-wise is the only option so we might as well make the most of what we can. Anything is better than nothing, but like @Ahiacitian mentioned, it could all be for naught if things continue to unravel.

Okay, following through on @Smudger's idea wasn't as easy as I would've liked but here is where we are now:
I didn't want to change roster sizes, positions, or scoring settings so those are unchanged.
It is a roto league for this season. Changes can be made daily. We will still have one keeper next year, as we were going to do this year.
In order to bring forward last year's rosters I had to select 26 keepers for each team. I didn't finalize them so review what I've done. If you prefer to keep some different players let me know and I'll edit your roster.
I'm trying to set the rules so that once rosters are finalized we begin with all available players on waivers so we're all starting at the same place. I have no idea what the waiver priority will be at the start. I'm trying to figure that out. I'll make it based on last year's standings, if possible (worst gets first). (EDIT: looks like I can set waiver priority after finalizing rosters)
There will be no draft under this format.
I sent this info out via email as well.
Thoughts? Suggestions? Roster fucks ups?

Hate to be a pain after all of your hard work here @Jake but would it make more sense to just a create a whole new league (import settings) for JUST this season? In other words, preserve what we already have, but create a separate one-off standalone league for ‘20 with a draft and everything but with no implications on the future. Just an idea, but the limitations to this season are going to have significant impacts on every facet of the game as well as the Fantasy side.
