BP Fantasy Baseball (2008-2024, Current Champion = MD Buckeye again)

Smudger is no longer able to participate in the Buckeye Planet fantasy football keeper league going forward so his slot is available. There also might be a couple additional spots in case we have multiple suckers err.... guys that want to join up. You veteran fantasy baseballers know a fantasy football season is a cake walk compared to baseball's grind, so go ahead and throw your hat in the ring for your chance to earn more Buckeye Planet bragging rights! First come first serve...

I have never played in a dynasty league, however, I believe that in this type of league, all yours players are keepers from year to year. In our keeper league, you only have the ability of keeping two players from year to year. Your keepers are based on their draft slot from the previous year or, if you choose to keep a free agent from the waiver wire, that player is automatically given a 7th round grade. For example, I picked up Alvin Kamara last year off the scrap heap and I want to keep him this year, he is assigned a keeper value of 7 meaning that during our draft, Kamara will be my 7th round draft pick and will be unavailable for any other managers to select. I like it because you can keep some of your best players from year to year, but there is enough turnover that everyone has a chance of winning each year too.

Thanks for the explanation. Currently, I’m in four redraft leagues. I really want to get in to a startup dyanasty. Aside from that, I think I want to keep my involvement to four leagues. It starts to be a bit much. I’m going to have to pass on this one.

Only four leagues? If you are in four might as well do five. That’s what I said to myself last year when I reluctantly picked up my fifth league at work. We are in need of three new managers now...

Explain how this isn’t an earned run.

Eaton doubles. Turner is safe at first on an error and Eaton goes to third. Next batter singles. Eaton scores anyway, error or no. You mean to tell me if Turner gets out, Eaton doesn’t score? That’s a damn earned run.

Only thing I can think of is that Eaton wouldn't have been on 3rd if not for the error?

Have to see it
