BP Fantasy Baseball (2008-2024, Current Champion = MD Buckeye again)

Will one of you guys recruit a 10th player from BP for next season? I've gotta get my co-worker outta here. Wasn't a problem last year but this trade-happy season (I'm blaming the noobs) he's become a pest.

He's claiming accidental drunken acceptance and wants me to veto our trade. I don't know how that happens since Yahoo gives you an "are you sure?" before it goes through, but I've never done a trade on the phone app so maybe it's different? I didn't expect him to accept that offer to be honest, but the way he bitches about Tony Watson I figured what the hell. I'm inclined to grant his request because I don't want him crying about it all week, but he'd better not try to pry Felipe Rivero off me again. Dumb ass.

Don't drink and trade, kids. :drunks:

@Saw31 has been hiding in our league this entire time?

Homer Bailey's stat line from today:

1.2 IP
2 K
43.20 ERA
5.40 WHIP

For the right price, I may be able to part with him. I will listen to any and all offers. By my calculations, ole Homer's K/9 is over 9 so there can be some real value to be had here!
I'll trade you a 1987 Topps Tim Pyznarski and 4 kicks in the balls

I see he wasted no time in announcing his presence with authority

Same old Homer

I'll take it! (minus the kicks to the nuts) If I recall correctly Tim Pyznarski was a "Future Star" according to Topps either for the Padres or Giants (forgive my 30 year memory lapse, though I own waaaay too many late 80's baseball cards that are worth the equivalent of kindling). I am willing to bet that 2017 Tim Pyznarski can still take Homer Bailey deep...

 Padres baby! I stockpiled that card back in the day, along with the other future stars like Rob Deer

I have the 3rd best team ERA and somehow am 4-8 in the category....which is nice

I have the 3rd best team WHIP and am 6-6 in the category

I do not have a winning record in any offensive category

I'm dead last in wins but second in ERA.

I've felt like my pitching has been shit yet I don't have a losing record in any pitching category.

Meanwhile, my patience with some underachieving hitters (Polanco, Odor, Schwarber, etc.) has produced predictable results. :pissed:
