If I have a pitcher who is coming off the DL and pitching tonight, I need to cut somebody because I don't have an empty roster spot. If I cut somebody, can I bring the pitcher off tbe DL and have him pitch tonight? Or will the cut player not be off my roster until tonorrow, thus prohibiting me from using Blistey Fingers?

The only way you could get him off the DL and into your line up on the same day is if you have someone else on your roster hitting the DL, so you can swap them. Otherwise, if you're cutting a guy, it'll be the next day.

Getting my ass handed to me offensively this week. Pitching is saving it some but Serious is going with the "cut a guy as soon as his game is over to pick up someone else in order to throw 3 SPs out there every night and win the wins and Ks category by sheer number of pitchers" strategy. This week it may be working but if my bats were even virgin mary warm, it would be a different story.
