BP Fantasy Baseball (2008-2024, Current Champion = MD Buckeye again)

Surprisingly was not defeated by significant position player losses through injury. The offense actually performed better the last three weeks than all season. Lack of a pitching staff haunted me all year with the autodraft squad I had & was forced to compensate using virtually all my FA adds on spot-starts. Painful to lose on a tie in the semi's, especially with my offense doing so well, but @Ahiacitian had soundly routed me in both regular season matchups. Again, no complaints because my team was autodrafted but I did the best I could.

Quit complaining about having to autodraft.

@sepia5 it was St. Patty's day. My last semester in school. Considering I was drinking at 6am, I probably wound up with a better team anyways. Focusing on a computer screen by that time in the night would've ended up with a prayer to the porcelain gods.

Felix Hernandez and his 2.07 ERA for the season picks today to get spit roasted in his worst start of the year.

"Only once in 301 career starts entering Tuesday had Hernandez failed to make it through the fifth while allowing at least eight runs."

Nice to see my luck hasn't changed.

We definitely had the exact opposite in teams. My offense was decimated with injuries by August when Tulu and CarGo were done for the year (who picks two injury prone players in the first two rounds anyways?). I have been getting by on smoke and mirrors offensively ever since. Will go as far the pitching takes me and hope to steal a hitting category by the end of the week!
