BP Fantasy Baseball (2008-2024, Current Champion = MD Buckeye again)

Team name: Ahiacitian Redlegs

I think the current batting/pitching categories are good and I like the diversity of the 6x6 categories

As far as changes to settings, I already proposed roster changes from 6 bench spots and 8 IL slots to 8 bench spots and 6 IL spots.

It also looks like the playoffs have not been setup yet as the current settings say “Playoffs: None”. I would propose a 22 week regular season so every team plays every other team twice in a true 12 team round robin. I would propose a 6 team playoff with the top 2 teams getting byes. This would lead to a three week playoffs in which are completed in the next to last week of the regular season.

Damn, just spent my entire lunch break thinking about fantasy baseball settings. Haha

Ok i adjusted some league settings. Whenever anyone gets a chance please look at the league and let me know if anything looks out of place. Or if you have any other suggestions

Looks good. With the bench spots and the need to rotate pitchers more than hitters, I kind of like the fact there are more hitters than pitchers in the lineup.

Looks like I failed to account for a partial week as it doesn’t appear you can do a true two rotation round robin and also end a week before the end of the MLB regular season. I think you did the right thing by cutting the regular season a week instead of playing the championship round during the last week of the regular season as most teams have either given up or are resting starters for the postseason.

Thanks man. I initially had the playoffs through the last week but went back and changed it for the exact reason you mentioned
