Same old thing with a decent back up catcher, they aren't worth the roster spot for 1-2 starts a week

they do have value if it's an upgrade for someone else

Most catchers aren't worth a fantasy roster spot, period.

Maybe next year we'll go unconventional and make it another utility position?

Yeah sure. I'm down for shaking things up next year.

The catcher position is the fantasy baseball equivalent of playing without the DH. Once you get past the "it's always been that way" notion you start to ask yourself "why do I want to see guys who can't hit, be required to hit?"

That's a great point...never looked at it that way before but it makes sense
