I was able to get some items autographed at the Big Ten Kickoff Luncheon in Chicago last week. These items are now being auctioned off, with all of the money being donated to BP.

This post will be used to keep track of the bids, which should be sent to me via regular PM (not the newer buddy messages). I will update the highest bid for each item as often as possible. The minimum bid for each item is $15.00. The winner will be the person with the highest PM'd bid as of 5 p.m. Eastern time on Friday, August 27th. After that date, once the donation to BP has been confirmed by a site admin, I will send the item to the winning bidder.

The winning bidders will also receive $25,000 in vCash for each dollar of the purchase price, and will not have to pay any shipping charges.

Here are the items (if you wish to bid. please send a PM to BB73, and indicate the item number on which you are bidding:

#1) An Official 96th Rose Bowl Program (black version), autographed by Dane Sanzenbacher, Bryant Browning, and Cameron Heyward on the inside cover. (There are some slight signs of wear on the cover - from me hauling it around - but it hasn't been read, and is in excellent condition overall). For those with Memento-like memories, tOSU beat Oregon 26-17 in this game.

Highest bid for item #1 so far (see first 2 pics in this post - the small piece of wood holding open the cover in the 2nd picture is not included): $35.00 - tmporter

#2) A 5 inch by 7 inch player card - autographed by #12, Dane Sanzenbacher (note to utgrad73, who might not know this - Dane is from Toledo)

Highest bid for item #2 so far (see picture in this post): $xx.xx - poster-name

#4) A 5 inch by 7 inch player card - autographed by #97, Cameron Heyward, who is on the 2010 Watch lists for the Bednarik, Hendricks, Lott, Lombardi, and Nagurski awards.

I probably wouldn't point it out if you hadn't made the memory joke (who am I kidding, yes, I would), but OSU won 26-17. :p

#97. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that this is a typo.

No good deed goes unpunished, asshole.

Ahh, dyslexia strikes again. I just watched the game last weekend. :!

Yeah, the 97's on the card, but the program didn't have the score of the game, since it comes out ahead of time.
