BP Awards: The Skladany (Best Punter)

This award was won in a landslide by Wake Forest's Ryan Plackemeier, who averaged 47.24 yards per punt in 2005. Congratulations, Ryan, for winning BP's inaugural edition of the Skladany Award as the nation's best punter!

Nice effort, LJB, and thank you. I would again suggest we cut this one down to 3 for next season, though. I consider myself an educated man, but I can't speak from much first-hand experience about the punting program at Wake Forest or Kansas :! :biggrin:

awww, my Ryne Robinson vote got thrown out. He punted a few times this season and impressed me enough. Don't know enough about punters...but he definitely could have been a dandy if he wasn't SO GOOD at everything else he is.

McNeal for Texas A&M got votes for best runningback.
