BP Awards: The Pace-Parker Pancake (Best Offensive Lineman)

Well, once again a Buckeye came close to winning, but the BP faithful cast more votes for fellow Big Ten center Greg Eslinger from the Minnesota Golden Gophers. Congratulations, Greg, for winning the first ever Pace-Parker Pancake Award as the best offensive lineman in the country!

The full results are set forth below, with the number of first place votes in parentheses:

OK, so did we give out that many ballots to adopted Texas fans that have joined BP this year or are there that many Buckeyes that are lovin' the Texas O-Line?

Oh, and whoever gave Will Allen a first place vote, you realize that's a different Will Allen, right? :biggrin: Seriously, there are going to be, what, four Will Allen's in the NFL next year?

I only included one Texas lineman on my ballot, and didn't put him in the top three. However as a unit, they were one of the best in the nation. Studdard also assisted in blocking a kick this year, pretty nice for a guard

I think people just saw him on one of the links that was provided and listed him. picking OLinemen is tough.

Thats what I did. OLine is tough for me. I only knew about 3 linemen who didn't play for the Bucks, and there aren't really a list of stats that you can look up for linemen. About all you can go off is Mr. Smart Sports Reporter says this guy is dominating, and this other Mr. Smart Sports Reporter agrees.
