Believe it or not, Oregon State almost had two winners in the BP Awards. However, Notre Dame's Jeff Samardzija edged out OSU's Mike Hass, even though Hass had five more first-place votes. Congratulations, Jeff, on winning the first annual Boston-Carter Trophy as the nation's best receiver (now just make sure to drop plenty of passes in the Fiesta Bowl!).
