You kids stay off my lawn!
1. FSU 28 - Va T 17 (Vick arrested night before game for possession)
2. Colorado 19 - Texas 17 (Young sacked for safety with 30 secs to go)
3. UCLA 45 - USC 28 (Reggie Bush out with broken leg)
4. Georgia 21 - LSU 17 (50 yard hail Mary wins game)

What would that do to the BCS picture? Sure would be fun to watch bowl figures scrammbling to make sense out of it all.

FSU would replace VT in the bowl game (ugly, but only affects those two teams)
Texas would receive an at large bid
USC would receive an at large bid
Georgia would get the auto bid, I think LSU would fall below OSU/ND, with no shot at an auto bid

1. PSU
2. USC
3. Texas
4. OSU
5. UCLA
6. Oregon
7. Notre Dame
8. LSU

I think OSU/UCLA could easily swap places. We would need to stay at #4 to make sure we make a bcs game, since Texas/USC are now in as at large bids.

I agree with your estimated BCS rankings of 1 through 5 in this scenario. But USC still gets the Pac-10 bid, via their strange tie-breaker. Texas would get an automatic at large at #3, and #4 is guaranteed nothing if the #3 bid was an at-large bid.

My bowl predictions if all 4 teams go down this week:

Rose - USC-Penn St
Orange - FSU-ND (they get 1st choice if Texas not in Rose)
Fiesta - Colorado-W. Va. (they're stuck with Colorado, and get second choice, but would have to avoid 3rd Colorado Texas match-up. They can't pick #4 tOSU if ND is already chosen and Texas is #3 in the BCS)
Sugar - Georgia-Texas

This is the Fiesta Bowl's nightmare - instead of ND-tOSU, they'd get Colorado-West Virginia!!

It's also our nightmare - since we'd get pimped by ND. Pull for Texas and USC to win, and for VaTech and LSU to lose.

Why? (not saying you're wrong.. but its a pretty stupid set up, if that's the case)

PAC 10 tie break system in a 3 way (which it would be with UCLA, USC and Oregon having 1 conf. loss) looks to record v. common opp.s first - UCLA lost to Zona, whereas USC and Oregon beat Zona. Thus, UCLA eliminated, then go to head to head as between USC and Ducks. USC won. USC goes.

Edit: Too late, I already answered. :wink2:

***edit- It took me way too long to type all of that***

USC gets the Pac 10 BCS bid even if they lose. Given the above BCS rankings Colorado would get the Big 12 bid to the Fiesta Bowl and Texas would get an at large bid for being in the top 4 of the BCS. OSU however would have to fight off ND for the second at large spot because only 1 of the 2 at large BCS spots go to the 3 or 4 team. Since Texas would get one at 3 we wouldn't have to get one at 4.

Here's what I would make out of the BCS picture.

PSU, USC, Colorado, Georgia, FSU, and West Virginia would get automatic BCS spots.
Texas would automatically get an at large spot for being #3

Rose- PSU vs USC
Orange- FSU vs Texas (could take OSU or ND)
Fiesta- Colorado vs OSU or ND (can't take Texas so they would have to take WVU if Orange takes OSU or ND)
Sugar- Georgia vs WVU (if Orange doesn't take Texas they would go here)
