Going for 2 to cut it to 3 for a kicker you won't use is a swell choice. As is using the same playcall after losing yardage.

Now when they get a fg, you are down by 8

Pretty much all been wasted since that first part of the game until that drive. Not kicking or at least attempting a fg earlier is looming large now isnt it.
