I bet. You miss a lot of things like that here in AZ. I'm missing being out in the woods and stuff right about not. Pines up north aren't the same but it's not bad. It gets colder here than people realize with no humidity. No nasty white stuff and ice though

I wandered a few miles in the woods of NE Ohio today. Mid-30s, sunny, no snow yet. There were a lot of folks out there.

I miss the Fall in Ohio a lot. Mid 30's there probably feels about like 50 or so here. Don't love the "lot of folks" part though which is why I'm likely to not stay here in Phoenix all that much longer. 10millioin plus is way too damn many

Ha, should have clarified. I’m still located in Indianapolis but have followed Wyoming from a distance for a number of years for various reasons (kid from my high school played there in the mid-2000s, met a Wyoming nursing student in Vegas some years ago, etc.).

I’d love to visit that big sky country though.

Uploaded a few picks when I visited Wyoming in 2019, before all of the "fun" started. Wyoming Cowboys

Took a bunch more hiking trails. Got a little nervous when I saw bear signs since I didn't actually have any spray but I never ran across one.

By "lot of folks" in the woods today I meant about a dozen. Usually don't see anyone on a Tuesday in winter.

Population explosion is one of the deterrents to me moving somewhere it doesn't snow. Hate Florida, and last time I was in Arizona I was surprised at the size of Phoenix.
