I wonder if Alex Cora lives in your building as well. I've seen him walking around the Landmark Building across the street from you.

This season.... Papplebon, Cora, Pedroia, Ellsbury, Crisp and Timlin so far that i know about. Lowell moved to the Ritz this season and I'm sure Kielty will be back when he's with the team.

Anybody know where I can rent Heidi?

I watch about two regular season baseball games on tv a year.

Yesterday being drab and dreary I decided to watch the Sox and Yankees. I tune in around 4:00, but with rain delays and all the game is still going on well after 8:00.

So there I sit with 2 out in the top of the 9th in a one run game and a 2-2 count on the batter - and Fox switches abruptly to the start of the NASCAR race.

I know how sh*tty was that. All the t.v's in the stadium switched over too. So the players wifes and others were sitting in the family room and some had to come run out for the last out after the switch.

that's friggin' terrible. You know it's awful when the players' wives have to "run out" and catch the end of the game 'live' in Fenway Park. Stupid Fox and their Nascar coverage.

Making life a living hell on the players' wives n' shit......

one thing I love about Manny is he rarely bitches about called strikes. It's rare a star gets caught looking without turning immediately to the umpire to argue the call.

If it's a strike Manny immediately heads to the dugout and he'll probably get you later. No complaining, no saving face.

It's a minor point, but very respectable.

Hard to argue a fastball right down the middle.:wink2:

ya, but 99% of MLB players would have looked at the umpire and said something.

He took an inside curve-ball earlier and had the same reaction. It's just not Manny's personality to argure balls and strikes. He just plays.
