ACC teams should be banned from the top 10 this year. No team qualifies as elite or even very good, IMO. The Big-10 and Big-East may stink too but they aren't a steaming pile of *beep* like the ACC is.

Been that way since Thug U and FSU fell off the map.

touchdown? touchdown? you gotta be kidding me. this is what you get with replay? :shake:

The first time I saw the low replay from behind, I thought he raised his foot before he caught the ball. The last time they showed that angle (just as the decision was being announced), they slowed it down more, and I thought he may have tapped a toe back down as he was catching the ball. I didn't have a problem with them not changing the call.

Looks like Ryan ain't doing much to pump up his Heisman candidacy.

His passing efficiency rating isn't that great. His candidacy is almost completely based on B.C. being undefeated.

But the rain sure doesn't help his abililty to throw strikes.

True but if they lose tonight no one will remember the rain come Heisman time.

Absolutely agree. Tonight would have been a great chance for him to legitimize his candidacy with some big numbers against a very good defense. Still a half to go, but not seeing it yet.

did you notice that he didn't have possession of the ball right before he contacted the ground?

I didn't see that.
Sadly, one of the judges did see that - shown waving his hands indicating incomplete pass.

Only after the gathering of the partially blind in the end-zone, surrounded by campaigning VT players is the final TD call made.

Then, of course, you have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the (erroneous) call was incorrect.

Fiasco for 7 points.
