Boston had 27 hits and 3 homers, including Renteria's 5th inning grand slam, against the Yankees yesterday. Suck on that Steinbrenner.

Game 3/3 today at 8:05 est. Wells vs. Mussina. Should be fun.

I won't get too excited about the beatdown. It was just one game. We need to pick up the rubber game to keep pace with not only the O's but also the MFY's.

However, it was great to see Manny and Edgar have such huge days. Hopefully they'll come out of the funks they're in and start producing on a more consistent basis.

No doubt. The heart of the order stays hot and David Wells looked pretty good after the first inning. Anyone know if Big Papi's HR ball from the first inning has landed yet?

Big series with the O's coming up. Hopefully we'll be able to shave a few more games off their lead.

I'm not surprised. Boston ain't that good this year. They annihilated the Yanks b/c all of the Red Sox hitters are in the Yankees pitchers' heads. 'Cept for my boy Wang, of course.

I think Baltimore will win the Division this year, with the Yanks & Red Sox fighting for the Wild Card.

BTW, can someone on the Yankees please knock David Ortiz on his ass please??
