another BRG opportunity... Renaissance LAX, using getaroom as the cheaper site offering the rate... end result is $76 if booked Sat-Tues (with the game on Monday night), makes for an easy shuttle to the airport Tuesday morning. I am not booking this (I'd rather stay with my current reservation in Pasadena), however one cheap way to go if you don't mind staying at LAX for the long weekend... btw the regular rate for the hotel is $199 per night...

As long as you keep your bookings in three night increments you can book the refundable rate on marriott.com then submit a BRG using the "getaroom.com" price match (plus Marriott will discount an additional 25%)... the BRG only works if booked in three night increments (for whatever reason getaroom.com has the third night free and the Marriott rate doesn't). End result depending on check in date is a mid $50's or mid $60's rate... add bonus is the fact the resort doesn't charge a resort fee.

I booked two three night stays back to back. End result after taxes is well under $400 for the six nights... not bad considering the normal nonrefundable rate is $1,150 and the normal refundable rate is $1,300 plus taxes...

It's back... just checked and the refundable BRG is back up and available... grab it while you can (it seems to come and go over the last couple of weeks, not sure how much longer this opportunity will last... you can cancel if it doesn't work out without charge... it is also available for many other dates as well)
