Yeah, that's normal seed season. It's also planting season so it works out well. :)

Although anyone thinking about sending me a couple probably shouldn't remove em from the husk, that should help keep em from drying out for the extra couple days it takes to mail em off.

Wonder if they will live long enough to have shade? :(

The lop might not, he's already middle age, so only has about 4 more years. But Mosh should, he's only a year old. They aren't outside bunnies so they have an extend lifespan of about 8 years.

can you grow a bonsai buckeye tree? that would be pretty cool..

i know that we have a tree out back, i can send you some seeds when the time is right.. also, i hear they are hard to grow.

I dont plan on truly bonsaing it, I am not sure I am that capable of a gardener. But I do plan on containering it to inhibit it's growth some. I dont have a yard a full size tree will fit in.

I hear they are hard to grow as well but I'm willing to try!

Just about any tree can be made a bonsai. Typically, pines do best.
All you need is some heavy, but still bendable wire to "train" it! :tongue2:
You might try an avocado first to get a feel for it. Or a small pine/ ceder.
