  1. Buckeyes win all 12 regular season games by double digits
  2. …all home games by 17 or more
  3. The Game will not be the closest home game
  4. Defense leads the B1G in at least 4 categories
  5. Buckeyes overcome their first 2-score deficit of the year in the championship game, defeating Bama
Disagree with #5. Bama may score first (or may not), but won't score twice before the Bucks do.

To be fair, the Buckeyes can be down 2 scores and still score first. Or even if Bama scores first, Ohio State can be down 2 scores after they've already scored.

My predictions:
1. 17-14 first half lead against Notre Dame becomes a 41-21 win.
2. Alabama will not win the SEC.
3. Two Big Ten teams get into the playoffs. HA! Just kidding.
3. Despite better stats, Stroud will not win the Heisman. Bryce Young, despite not matching his numbers from 2021, will become the 2nd player to win 2 Heismans. We can all thank ESPN.
4. Scott Frost will not be head coach at Nebraska for their 6th game this year. Or any game after that.
5. Ohio State will beat *ichigan by 30+ points.

Tyleik was an absolute game wrecker for the eight plays he could inhale oxygen last season. If he has truly dropped 40-50 pounds and has the endurance to play multiple consecutive series… his conditioning is what I am hanging the defense on. No, he’s not Will Anderson. But he is a monster and has to be on the field for more than 12 - 14 snaps.

I'm trying to keep my expectations in check, but everything tells me this team is going to roll, at least till the playoffs. I think the defense, if it isn't for real to start, will be a monster by November. I agree that they'll win every regular season game by at least two scores.

We'll have two Heisman finalists, and CJ still wins because the other two finalists are from Bama.

The Game this year will make TTUN long for the good ole days of 2018 and 2019.

Sure, I'll bite as I sit in anticipation for Saturday. My predictions are Buckeye-only.

1. JSN will not lead the WRs in receiving yards, but will in TDs. Harrison Jr will lead the team in receiving yards.
2. The leader in sacks will be Harrison, with Sawyer right on his tail...for some reason I think Harrison finally breaks through and his performance meets his talent.
3. Leading tackler will be Eichenberg...not a bold prediction, but feeling he will thrive in Knowles' defense. Second leading tackler will be Proctor.
4. Stroud wins the Heisman and Henderson ends up third overall.
5. CJ Hicks wins a starting role, or gets about the same amount of snaps as Eichenberg and Chambers...playmaker you can't keep off the field.
6. The tight ends combine for over 1,000 yards receiving in the season (between Stover, Royer, Scott and Rossi). It is a deep TE room, but I mostly make this prediction because the WRs are going to get so much attention that the TEs will have a lot of opportunities.
7. Bucks win the Natty...I have the same feeling you all do on that one and it feels like a special year is brewing. I didn't have that same feeling last year fwiw, I just think all the elements are there for a big year.

1). Southern Cal looks very average at the start of the year but looks like gangbusters in the bowl game. The 2023-2024 hype train will be heavily focused on the Trojans being "BACK"
2). Auburn beats Penn State in the rematch but finishes the season 4-8, Harsin fired.
3). The shine is fully off of Dabo as Da U beats Clemson in the ACC championship game but the ACC misses the playoff and Miami loses it's NY6 Bowl game.
4). Kentucky finishes 7-5 and Calipari dunks on Stoops all season
5). Throughout the season, several B1G teams will be anointed "the challenger" to Ohio State. Each one will lose in subsequent weeks and nobody looks like a NY6 team. Of the challengers, the one that looks the best is Michigan State.

I have to say as the season starts that the Count Bodycount/LSU hype machine has been pretty much silent...predictions on LSU this season? I say 5th in the West, behind Alabama, aTm, Arkansas, and Ole Miss.
