Boise State Broncos (aka Little Sisters Of The Poor)

GET DUMPED THEN, BOISE STATE. I did not think I had any reason to root against Boise State this week, but it turns out I very much do. See, the Broncos took what is rightfully ours last week, and I want it back.

... despite winning both of their games played this season, the Boise State Broncos (462-170-2) managed to surpass Ohio State (926-326-53) as the FBS program with the best all-time winning percentage.

After defeating Air Force, 49-30, on the road in Week 10, the Broncos two wins from this year have elevated that all-time winning percentage higher (.7303) higher than than Ohio State's .7299, given the fewer total games Boise State's program has played overall than the Buckeyes.

The good news for Buckeyes fans, though, is that Boise State faces what appears to be its toughest opponents of the year this Friday against No. 9 BYU at home in Boise. In fact, the Broncos have already opened as 2.5-point home underdogs to the Cougars, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Needless to say, I am suddenly a BYU fan. The good news is, it's gonna feel perfectly natural rooting against all that blue.

Boise State joined Div IA (FBS) in 1996. Their own fans might consider them part of the conversation for all-time winning percentage, but they have been a top-division team for 23% of "all-time". That does not qualify by any useful standard.
