Hey, when you have one conference co-championship in 36 years, you thump your chest whenever you can. Oh yeah, Purdue has one, that's one, outright conference title in their history (since 1896...108 years).

I guess it's good I have this perspective. I attend Purdue University. I have to say that their heads were much much bigger when Drew Brees was the QB of this team. I walk around campus with my OSU gear on ALL THE TIME, and though I get weird looks, no one says anything. I take that back, I've been stopped a few times to actually talk about the team. No trash talk, just football talk.
My freshman year Brees was still the QB and I was getting close to mugged on a weekly basis. The people in the know around here understand the weaknesses of the team and seem to be humble about it. At least around campus, Purdue fans are the best fans I've ever met sans the first year.
I don't know who you talk to that are PU fans, but I can venture a guess to say that there are Buckeye fans who are just as cocky and arrogant. I'm around the nucleus of PU fans, and honestly if I wasn't such a big OSU fan I'd probably like PU at this point. Heh.

It would be nice if Purdue had anything to talk shit about!!! When Purdue fans talk shit to Buckeye fans it makes as much sense and a Cub's fan acting like they have a better tradition than the ST. Louis Cardinals...It's just fucking stupid!!!!!

What has Purdue proven ...Jack and Shit...Jack just left town!!!!

We'll see what they have to say if ND beats them.

I want them to be undefeated when we play them. That would definitely be a quality win for us. They seem to be the media darling so far. It would be nice to be the first ones to knock them off. Plus I don't want notre dame beating yet another Big 10 team.
