Ya cuz we were never taught to judge a book by its cover right? Come on I barely saw any previews for this movie at all, I'm wondering where everyone has seen all these previews and have already decided its terrible. Lame.

Um, it's very easy to judge movies by their trailer. I'm rarely wrong.

Fletch was fucking hilarious, that and caddyshack were great movies. I will concede that Chevy was overshadowed by Dangerfield in caddyshack though.

I think you can see the generation gap on here with some posters. I actually worked with a lady mid-40ish that said Chevy Chase was her dream guy....tall, funny and GOOD LOOKING! And she was hot.

All I'm saying is that these trailers didn't give away much of anything at all from the movie. The situp scene isnt even in the movie. Unlike Talledega that made a trillion different trailers and gave away most of its funny lines, this movie has shown pretty much the same trailer with every commercial. You're all going to judge this movie by the one or two trailers you've seen?

Did you find the trailer lines to be funny?

I thought Talladega Nights had a few good lines (ie save me tom cruise) in the trailer, but as you said, there really wasn't much that was funny outside of those trailers.
