With the internet marketplace these days, especially with deal sites notifying you of killer deals or stackable coupons, black friday is more of a hobby than an opportunity.
People would drop that hobby if they knew how some of these sales worked. It's kind of hard to believe they don't know.
Items A and B are normally on sale for $20. On Black Friday, retailers raise the price to $40 and make it "buy one get one free."
Bullshit.
There are some good deals, but rarely on shit that most people buy. On TVs, stuff like that, great deals. Not the stuff that people are usually killing people to buy. They're killing over the game systems that are the same price every day of the year, and were easily found the day before Thanksgiving.
It was easy to get a Wii about three weeks ago, good luck now.
