Not nearly as tragic, but certainly headline-grabbing, was the pepper-spray incident late Thursday at a Walmart store in Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley. A woman trying to get her hands on merchandise used pepper spray to scatter the competition, authorities said.
Ten customers were slightly injured by the pepper spray, and 10 others suffered minor bumps and bruises in the chaos, police Sgt. Jose Valle said. They were treated at the scene.
"This was customer-versus-customer 'shopping rage,' " Los Angeles police Lt. Abel Parga said.
The woman used the spray in more than one area of the store "to gain preferred access to a variety of locations in the store," Los Angeles Fire Capt. James Carson said. "She was competitive shopping."

There was a video that supposedly showed the incident but I watched it and didn't see anything so I didn't post it. I did not want to further spread a "viral" video that wasn't actually useful. The dude who shot the video was also interviewed on KTLA about AND made a rebuttal video about his interview AND is all over the web linking to his video and discussing his video. Ick.

According to the article I linked, the police and store say she walked around the store using the pepper spray multiple times to get to where she wanted to go but I guess the Xbox incident was the worst. She "turned herself in" but refused to talk to anyone and they let her go pending investigation.

My best friend and I were suppose to go black Friday shopping for our families. We decided we wanted to shop separate from our wives so we could just hang out and shoot the shit. Too bad while waiting for places to open we got too shit faced and there was no shopping to be had.
