Jellyfish Salad

Sea Cucumber w/duck feet

Goose intestines braised in black bean sauce

He actually found something he couldn't eat: durian, a form of Chinese stinkfruit. :dead:

Tonight's menu:

duck feet stuffed with crab

fried chicken...feet

deep fried pigs ears

and, of course, roasted scorpions

The scary part is he's eating this stuff in nice looking restaurants in China.

Nothing like some bull's penis, and testicles, in Vietnam. They appear to be simmered in broth. Umm! Umm! Good!

Poor bastard was packing about 30 inches before his untimely demise. Somewhere near Hanoi, the cows are crying.

Has anyone else seen his act on the Travel Channel? I heard about him at work and he's just crazy: cow's eyes, chicken butts, bull's balls - he eats them all.

The scary part? These are supposedly common foods in the places he visits - Taiwan, Trinidad and Tobago, Philippines, Spain.

Umm, at least two of those are somewhat common in parts of the United States.

Arg, I hope my Tivo pass did what it was supposed to and recorded the Gengzhou episode!

The best part is when he cuts a piece off of the starfish in the center of the table and says it's "very crunch". The hostess looks at him funny laughs a bit and says "people don't eat that".

t was there as a decorative centerpiece.

lol

Chicken butts, bull's balls and cow's eyes are "common" here? Eh, have at 'em.

I can find far better parts on which to dine.

As are brain, tripe, ears, nose, cheeks, feet etc etc

People in rural areas tend to be far more efficient in their use of the animal.

I'm aware of feet, snouts, tripe and brain being eaten by some, particularly people who raise the animals themselves, but I'm not sure I'd use "common" to describe that practice in 21st century USA (in their whole state).

Of course, sausages are very popular, and all that stuff and more goes into them. It just takes a little less daring to ingest those parts when they've been ground, seasoned, and smoked, then stuck in a bun with toppings. :p

Damn, now I'm hungry.

Here he goes again...in Asia.

Let's see, a raw frog's heart - still beating - as an appetizer. Can't pass on the raw pig's testicles in oil. Time for some deer penis, followed by fugu - better known as poisonous blowfish. Don't forget the soy sauce!

Edit: live octopus, live turtle - don't these people cook anything? :dead:
