but in reality i doubt they even get it up or would be allowed but if they do get it up hopefully its after i move into columbus because im sure somebody else could make it there before i could.
I think it would be funny if they raised all the money to do this then the company in charge of whatever particular billboard they were looking at just laughed at them and told them to go get a life. I mean, I would be rolling on the floor.

FiascoBowl.org update <HR SIZE=1>Couple of quick changes to the site, we would like your (Hurricane fans) input.
First, we have, as promised, posted some of the Bucknuts comments along with a few short responses. The volume of responses was quite overwhelming, so bucknuts that are trolling, please know that each response was read, even if not posted or responded to on the site...and also know that it was most likely laughed at.
Second, there is another option up for the billboard, towards the bottom of the page. We’re having a little bit of internal debate, we’d like Hurricane input on which is preferred.
Third, I’ll be gone for a few days as I will be in Columbus to make a final decision on a billboard location. We’ve got a few options that fit our criteria, but I want to see the sites in person prior to making a selection. It, unfortunately, does not look like we will have it up prior to the start of spring practice, but it will be up prior to aOSU’s spring game. Ought to give their alumni something to look at since their football team is going to suck...especially with the undeserved pre-season hype they're already getting.
Fourth, we're inviting Hurrican fans to submit alternate names for aOSU. Just for grins, we'd like to compile a comprehensive list of names for convenient reference. It should also serve as handy reference if you find yourself forced to interact with a luckeye.
Final note, those of us funding this effort had originally pledged a sum that we thought would keep the billboard up through their home opener this fall – it now looks like the sum that we pledged will be sufficient to keep it up through January 31, 2007. In addition to our stated goal of drawing attention and official inquiry to that travesty of a bowl game, it should serve as a constant reminder throughout the season that they are undeserving and will never get the validation they so desperately seek.

These poor guys really need a life. I love sports and I love my buckeyes but that is just nuts. It would be ammusing to see the sign in Columbus but to me that is only proving how big of sore losers these cats are. In the grand scheme of life their are so many other causes out there they could spend their money on then a damn billboard for a game that happened years ago.

Back from Columbus (thank god) <HR SIZE=1>So nice to be back from Columbus. Suffice it to say, I don’t anticipate taking a vacation there any time soon.
Anyway, our media buyer took me around to several potential locations. I was really hoping that something was going to be available that was viewable from the horseshoe, but, unfortunately, that’s not in the cards.
We did settle on a couple of locations that I’m OK with – they’re all along route 315, so it will be visible on the way in to watch the luckeyes. Had to pick a few locations just to ensure we would get it up in time, and I’m obviously not going to post publicly what those locations are, but it will be going up rather quickly…should be up in plenty of time for their spring game.
Long story short, the contract should be signed later today (hopefully) and then it will be installed a few days later – possibly this weekend, but that might be pushing things a bit.
I know many of you don’t care about this, or think it’s bad idea – but quite a few think it’s a great idea, which is why I’m posting an update. Also, to those whom have offered financial assistance, thank you very much – but as we said, we’re not accepting donations for this – it’s already over-funded, we’re not here with our hats in our hands asking for money.
Final note, overwhelming response to support the first billboard artwork (below), so that's the one we're running with - signed off on the proof over the weekend.
