Bill Belichick (HC North Carolina)

Bill Belichick apparently will go 0-for-7 when it comes to finding a head-coaching job in 2024. If, as it appears, nothing materializes in Seattle or Washington or elsewhere, what will happen in 2025? The question of control will continue to hover over Belichick's prospects

Just sayin': You would think that a head coach that has the most Superbowl wins (3 times as many as any other active coach, Andy Reid has 2) would be able to find a job. However, that doesn't appear to be the case for Bill Belichick in 2024.

COACH SUPER BOWL WINS TEAM
Bill Belichick 6 Patriots
Chuck Noll 4 Steelers
Bill Walsh 3 49ers
Joe Gibbs 3 Redskins
Andy Reid 2 Chiefs
Vince Lombardi 2 Packers
Tom Flores 2 Raiders
Jimmy Johnson 2 Cowboys
George Seifert 2 49ers
Mike Shanahan 2 Broncos
Tom Coughlin 2 Giants
Bill Parcells 2 Giants
Tom Landry 2 Cowboys
Don Shula 2 Dolphins
FWIW, a Sports Illustrated writer's comment:

I never thought Bill Belichick would have much of a market to be a head coach again this year, even with seven openings besides the New England Patriots. Yes, I know about his Super Bowls and his record. But, for teams, signing head coaches is similar to signing players: They are hiring them for future performance, not past performance. As this hiring cycle shows, teams want younger coaches with the hope that the teams can have continuity and sustained success for many years (similar to what New England had). Indeed, the reason that no one is hiring Belichick and Pete Carroll is the reason their teams decided to separate from those coaches: wanting new, fresh faces leading their teams from the sideline. Is this ageism? Well, if pressed, the teams would say they wanted to go “in a different direction.” And there’s no Rooney Rule for that.

I think there's a chance teams have realized that BB without Tom Brady is a fool's errand...

With TB: 232-72 (.763), 30-11 Postseason, 9 Conf Champs, 6 SB Champs
Without TB: 70-93 (.429), 1-2 Postseason, 0 Conf Champs, 0 SB Champs

10 Seasons without TB he missed the playoffs 8/10 years and had just 2 winning seasons, 11-5 with the Clowns in '94 and 10-7 with the Pats in 2021.

Bill Belichik without Tom Brady is a 7-9 coach. and he's now 71 years old. Anybody that hired him thinking he was the answer would be a fool.

Bill Belichick lands his latest media gig, serving as an NFL analyst for this TV show for the 2024 season

Belichick is staying close to the game, but in a new capacity

Exactly six months to the day after leaving the Patriots, Bill Belichick has landed a new job. The six-time Super Bowl-winning head coach will join "Inside the NFL" for the 2024 season.

Belichick will sit alongside former Pro Bowl safety Ryan Clark, former Pro Bowl wide receiver Chad Johnson and former defensive end Chris Long, who won one of his two Super Bowls while playing for Belichick in New England. "Inside the NFL," which will be on The CW Network for a second straight season, will make its season debut on Friday, Aug. 30 at 9 p.m. ET.

"I'm thrilled to join my new team at NFL Films and to work on such a historic television franchise," Belichick said in a press release. "I've always appreciated 'Inside the NFL's' depth of analysis, and I hope to bring the same detailed insight to The CW by talking real football with real pros -- Ryan, Chris and Chad -- this coming season."

Bill Belichick’s Cringey CBS Interview Raises Larger Questions

Belichick’s media skills, honed during a year off from coaching, seemed to disappear during his awkward CBS interview.

Did Bill Belichick learn anything from his year as a member of the media? His trainwreck interview with CBS News Sunday Morning is making me wonder about that.

What should have been a feel-good chat about his first book, The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football, went off the rails when girlfriend Jordon Hudson shut down questions about how the couple met, even though she wasn’t part of the interview.

“Not talking about this,” she sternly told CBS reporter Tony Dokoupil. When the newsman turned to Hudson to clarify, she shut him down again. Meanwhile, the formerly fearsome coach remained meekly silent.

Just sayin': Anyone know how actually Belichick and Hudson met?
According to Google: Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson reportedly met in February 2021 while on a flight between Boston and Florida. They were seated next to each other, and Belichick struck up a conversation after noticing Hudson was reading "Deductive Logic". Belichick even signed one of Hudson's textbooks with a message, according to TMZ.

It appears to be more than just an old rich guy banging a hot young chick tho. The perception is she's controlling his career too which is the surprising/pathetic part
Not surprising to all of us

Sure, there are parts of our society that try to program you to automatically assume that the older man is taking advantage of the younger woman, but if you’re old enough to have seen this among people you know (and you kept your eyes and your mind open) you often find that the young woman is a fully functional adult who knows exactly what she’s doing and is far more in control of the situation than is widely assumed. When the dust settles you often find that she is the one who was “taking advantage”, if you want to call it that. Most often, both parties have their eyes wide open: she sees a way to get her hand on resources (one of which is a sense of importance) on easy-mode, and he sees a way to spend his ungrateful progeny’s inheritance on something that will make himself happy.

Hudson and Belichick — seen here on Spring Break in Jupiter, Fla. — have been dating since 2021 when they met on a flight from Boston to Florida

Just sayin': This has got to be a better exercise program than working out with an old Richard Simmons Sweatin' To The Oldies video.
