Although I agree that it was the most dramatic play I've ever seen in my life, the NC game had plays with way more meaning. The play that won the game was the play that made the Buckeyes national champs for the first time in my life. That's something I'll never forget.

Without Holy Buckeye, there is no NC game.

But, with the Bucks down by 10, a FG block and Youboty's subsequent return for a TD, puts the Bucks in position to come back and win that game, and essentially turn the season.
Hear, hear...

Honorable menion for the entire Wazzou game in '02. Clarett was absolutely superhuman in that game. I remember just sitting in the recliner with my jaw on the floor in complete awe of how he was single handedly decimating an entire defense. It was a thing of beauty. Too bad the story had to end so badly.

Not that I disagree that Holy Buckeye was an absolutely amazing play, but the last play of the NC game will always reign as #1 in my book. Mainly because it finalized a game that Hollywood would be proud to script, and it introduced the Buckeyes as National Champs for the first time in my life. The only times I've been that emotionally drained is when my kids were born.

Agreed. Final play of the NC game is #1 for me. I don't have any kids, so that play is so far ahead of anything else. Holy Buckeye is #2. After that, I don't think I can put them in any order.

Chris Gamble's int td return against PSU is up there.

Craig Krenzel's nifty td run against Cincy to put us in the lead is also a big one.

I'd have Gamble's touchdown against PSU up there pretty high, too. His tackle earlier that game, when Krenzel fumbled on the goal line, should be pretty high, too. It saved a touchdown.

I forgot about Krenzel's run against Cincinnati. Good call. Also, Will Allen's interception.

I'd imagine that we could come up with at least 1 "big" play during 2002 for every "big" play during the rest of Tressel's time at Ohio State.

Gotta be Holy Buckeye at No. 1. Nothing touches that.

Probably some national championship stuff after that. Clarett's strip has to be up there. The final play too.

I'd put Gamble's PSU interception return pretty high too. It seemed so monumental at the time.
