Uh, no. Notre Dame completely sucks this year. Ohio State will never reach this level of ineptitude. Notre Dame losing to Navy isn't that much of a surprise...the line for this game was only 3.5 IIRC. Tell when we'll ever be favored by only 3.5 over Akron or YSU.

To answer the thread question: Nebraska.

Nebraska - Giving up the most points your program has ever surrendered in its history...'nuff said.

Notre Dame - They've been a complete embarrassment all year. Streak or no streak, losing to Navy is no more an embarrassment than their other losses.

Oklahoma State - Did the exact same shit against Texas in 2004 and 2005.

Matt Ryan - Monsoon conditions have a habit of neutralizing great QBs

For me it's a tossup between Nebraska and NoD, the reason is both have committed themselves to coaches who are just fucking horrible. Callahan is a fraud and has always been, he was exposed in the NFL after he didn't bother to change any of the calls for the Raiders against the Bucs. Weis is a different kind of fraud, this guy has left and for being an "offensive genius" it doesn't look like the Pats are missing him.

Who's the biggest embarrassment? Both programs should be hanging their heads in shame. Notre Dame is getting a good taste of Karma but Nebraska is such a proud program that it sucks to see them fall this far. There's talent there, but the coaching staff just plain sucks.

For Notre Dame, a lot of tradition, but let's face it, there's as many people out there happy to see them lose as there are to see them win, I don't know if you can say that about Nebraska. Stoops and Brown have made the Big 12 much more competitive than it was when Nebraska was a powerhouse.

I haven't seen the stats but it sure seemed that Weatherford outplayed Ryan in the same conditions. Considering Ryan's Heisman front runner status going into the game thats pretty damn bad. Maybe I'm biased from seeing DW play so much and knowing what a completely worthless QB he is.

I'd probably still give the nod to Nebraska, 76 points? Holy Hell.

I don't remember there being bad weather that night in Happy Valley.
Perhaps you simply wanted to erase all memory of that night.

The official stats and Weather conditions statement --
Kickoff time: 07:47 End of Game: 10:47 Total elapsed time: 3:00
Officials: Referee: D.Witvoet; Umpire: J.Carr; Linesman: M.Mahouski;
Line judge: J.Kouris; Back judge: R.Smith,Jr.; Field judge: J.O'Neill;
Side judge: T.Anderson; Scorer: T.Herrington;
Temperature: 44-48 Wind: NNE 7-14 Weather: Cold,periods of rain
The field was sodden and it rained - not so much and off, more on than off. Not a monsoon, but certainly bad enough to make passing an adventure for either team.

I have to go with Nebraska. This is unbelievable. Nebraska losing is bad for college football, on the other hand Notre Dame losing is good for college football.

Like I posted in the other thread. I hope Barry Alvarez gives some consideration to the Job at Nebraska. Osbourne is too old.

Edit: Spell corrected losing not loosing. ty jwin and as far as not making sense just think about it outside of the box.

As for this poll -
I'd say Weis screwing the pooch, twice, with bad decision making to end a 43-year streak against Navy is on par with the Huskers getting reamed for 76 points.

As you didn't have a tie, I'll vote "Other"

Nebraska. The navy loss wasn't ND's biggest embarrassment, that happened a few years back with a certain contract.

That doesn't make a lot of sense. (and it's losing :wink:)
