The Big Ten brass has to be glad Thad Matta came into the conference - his teams have made for a lot of entertaining conference tourney games, and fewer low scoring games as well. OSU's performance has made for interesting theater in the BTT basically ever since Matta's second season. I doubt many of these other teams (like MSU for example) place the same emphasis on the conference tourney as Matta does.

Where will the NCAA seed Purdue? I know their resume is strong but they clearly are not that team without Hummel.

I'd drop them to at least a 5 seed now, maybe even lower.
