Big 10 Basketball 2009-2010

The bracketology sites that came out today with updates still have Ohio State as a 3 seed, both with Purdue as a 2 seed.

I just don't get it. Maybe they have to wait until OSU wins against Illinois and then makes their run in the tourny while they watch Purdue fall?

I'm pretty sure it's because of OSU's RPI. As good as they have looked, their RPI is still like 31st right now. I could be wrong though, I didn't look at the RPI of the 1 and 2 seeds.

You are correct about #31 R.P.I.
Would be helpful for seeding to get to a #2 seed.
this website gives the current (March 1) RPI of NCAA teams and you don't have to be an ESPN insider.

You can root for MSU now that Purdue won. We're already sharing it with Purdue, what's the difference between a two way tie or a three way tie? We're still the top seed in the tournament.

Good point. Also, my scUM fan up here pointed out that losing on Sunday would really suck because both of his hated teams could then claim a B10 season title. Go Sparty :evil:

Well as it stands right now as the #1 seed we would likely get;

Friday 3/12 noon
winner 8 vs 9 seed (NU/UM vs Iowa)

Saturday 3/13 1:30
winner 4 vs 5 game (Wisky vs Illinois)

Sunday 3/14 3:30
CCG (shocked if its anyone but Purdue or MSU)
