Bibby to Hawks for Four Players

Definitely a salary dump.

One thing I bet all those players have in common is low salaries that are over soon.

Shelden Williams was the #5 pick in the draft and is just in his second year. He is the young piece, the rest are the expiring contracts.

The bottom line is there are only 3, maybe 4 players on the Cavs that anyone would want: LBJ, Gibby, AV or possibly Gooden. Gooden , I would trade if it helped the team but I wouldn't do it just to trade him. Sure, he plays retarded at times, but he usually rebounds good and has a decent salary.

LBJ, Gibby and AV are a major part of this teams long term future that I would not trade just to get a former All-Star that makes 13-20 million and is past his prime.

Pay Gibson after this year. Pay Varejao when he's up, and when all the dead contracts run out, use the money to make a very good team(now) a great team capable of producing multiple championships. It starts with the 2008 draft, but the best is yeat to come.

I'm not on the "LeBron's going to leave train", he'll be here when all the money is available and he'll be having his say on how to spend it.

Screw Kidd. Screw Bibby. The only high priced player that I think we would have a chance to acquire in the next few years that would be well worth it would be Mike Redd.
