Best Will Ferrel Movie?

Ferrell wasn't funny on SNL and he isn't funny now. I vote none

Wow, I can't believe anyone actually likes any of those movies. Will Ferrell is one of the worst actors ever. Land of the Lost was surprisingly funny, but the rest of his movies, aside from Anchorman, were terrible. Lots of dumbass lines and sporatic yelling. Night at the roxbury was decently terrible, as well as elf. The only time I enjoy seeing him in a movie is as a cameo - Crashers, starsky and hutch, and the goods.

Elf & Stranger Than Fiction were solid, but don't really fit with these movies.

...which is exactly why they were solid.

Stranger Than Fiction is actually a good movie...very unWillFerrelllike.

I've tried watching his movies a few times on plane trips, I just can't do it. He and Adam Sandler are like fingernails on the blackboard for me.

I stopped reading after "Land of the Lost was.. funny." Brutally bad.

My vote went to Anchorman, but not because of Farrell. The cast was amazing. Paul Rudd, Steve Carrell, and David Koechner make the movie. Farrell needs a strong cast around him. Notice all of his funniest movies have that.

Will Ferrell isn't funny when he's the lead guy.

Look at his work on SNL - the funniest skits (Celebrity Jeopardy in particular) were not the ones where he was the lead. He was funny in the first Austin Powers where again he wasn't the lead character.

I think he tries too hard honestly.
