So I'll ask again, am I missing something here, sarcasm font perhaps?

Don't know that I said that Nike wasn't entitled to make profits - and I might be persuaded to help them IF they delivered on the promise of "Throwback" - But if I were to follow the same logical extension - don't like Nike's faux uniform styles, seems to me to be corporate money grabbing = Communism, then you are saying that money/profit = justification in all cases. Both shoes fit?

To Nike's shareholders, which is the group they're responsible to, that is correct, so long as they obey all laws and operate in accordance with their contracts and with accepted business ethics.

Nike didn't promise anything relative to "throwbacks." I think that was fans' terminology rather than Nike's, but even if Nike used the term it's nothing but marketing-speak, which differs from "lies" only slightly as anyone familiar with advertising knows. As for "helping Nike," they don't need your help. Just your money.

Hey, fans have every right to piss and moan about anything they don't like about their team. I just think complaints about companies' profiting from their contractual relationship with tOSU is intellectually inconsistent with the general politically-conservative tenor of the site.

Plus, I like calling people pinkos, especially when they're anything but.
