Best Email to use?

So I will be graduating in the fall and will need a new email address (aside from my .osu email) My brother in law works for Miami OH as a technical manager and he asked me if I was going to be able to keep my school email after I graduate. I had no idea, as I hadn't heard anything like that before. So first off, does anyone know anything about this. And second, if I can't keep my school email, what is the best out there (for free of course) ie hotmail, gmail, etc...

Yes, you can keep your school email. You sign up for a free lifetime email and any email sent to your osu.edu email account will be forwarded to your non-school email. So if I emailed you at [email protected] it would automatically be forwarded to the email you signed up with, ex: [email protected].

I have two - a yahoo and gmail account.

I prefer Gmail for family and personal correspondence. I like the way that emails sent to multiple people collect in one specific message rather than cluttering up my inbox with reply after reply....etc.

Yahoo is used for anything I might sign up for (buckeye planet, fantasy football...etc). I also use it for purchase confirmation information (airline tickets, amazon.com).
