I've only been to Arizona State and University of Arizona gamedays. Lame, lame, lame compared to tOSU. I was at the Rose Bowl for OSU/UCLA game in 2001, and it seemed like a great atmosphere. I loved the open grassy area for tailgating outside the stadium. Plus, Pasadena is beautiful.
Purdue's stadium makes it feel like a glorified high school game. Not much for atmosphere... I got there late, and didn't get a chance to check out the tailgating, but I didn't see anyone hanging around afterward, either. However, Purdue's alumni association there gets bonus points for letting me just park in their lot when I stopped to ask where the nearest lot was, and a staffer with a golf cart offered me a lift to the stadium. Nice folk.
